KADAPPAH/ POTATO & GREEN PEAS CURRY

Kadappah is a South Indian gravy made of moong dal, green peas and potatoes in coconut and fennel mixture. This recipe doesn't require the addition of any kind of chilly powders like any other indian gravy.
I guess the origin of this dish is kumbakonam. Tastes great with Idlis and Dosas...Make your picky eating kid have some veggies without a fuss!! My granny makes this with lots of fennel topped with.. We usually have idlis dunked (literally) into the kadappah.
